A Capital Christmas. Interior designer Emma Sims Hilditch starting point was a hand embroidered fabric called Queen Anne vine, from Chelsea Textiles, which she used for the sitting room curtains. 'It's a beautiful two-tone mauve and teal hand embroidery' says Emma. Set alongside, hand made and hand painted furniture, also from Chelsea Textiles.

Guest bedroom: Chair square with upholstered back and writing desk with one drawer.

Main bedroom: Commode with fluted carving and Betty, hand embroidered cushion.
