Book of Fabrics
Published 2022
Chelsea Textiles introduces a collection of plains, prints, silks, velvets, and bouclés, designed to complement their acclaimed hand-embroidery, and stand singly as exceptional examples of type.
The elegant palette is informed by 18th century documents, and each fabric is produced in Europe, by artisans, mostly on historic looms. The traditional technique bestows a quality and feel consistent with the embroideries, which are inspired by surviving 18th century examples.
A selection of our fabrics are shown on a variety of antique and mid-century chairs, harmonising with the patina of each, demonstrating their ease of use and suitability for furnishing historic homes.
Samples of each fabric are available on request.
